Making paymentsHow can I pay my rent? You can pay your rent weekly, fortnightly or monthly in advance. DIRECT DEBIT This is the easiest way to pay your rent as the amount is taken out of your bank account automatically each month. You can set up a direct debit by printing off the form below, or by getting one from a Council One Stop Shop or the Broxbourne Housing Association offices. After the mandate has been received, you will be advised of your monthly payments by letter. Small amounts of arrears and credits will be included in the calculations. The monthly deductions will be requested from your bank on the 10th of every calender month, unless this date falls over a weekend or a bank holiday in which case it will be requested on the next working day. Direct Debit Form STANDING ORDER This instructs your bank to pay an amount, usually monthly, to us. This can only be varied by you, so when your rent is increased each year you must notify your bank directly. You can set up a standing order by printing off the two forms below, one for us and one for your bank, or getting them from our offices or a Council One Stop Shop. Please note that BOTH forms need to be completed for the standing order to be set up. Standing Order Form for the Bank.
