Current Vacancies

Trade Operatives
Based Hoddesdon
£11 – £15 per hour according to experience

From June this year we will be carrying out repairs and maintenance to our homes ourselves and we are looking for a number of people to be available on an ‘as and when needed ‘basis. There may also be some longer term contract or permanent positions available.

Ideally we are looking for people with a multi trade background, but if you specialise in a particular area we’d also like to hear from you. The kind of skills we’re looking for include plumbers, decorators, carpenters, electricians, plasterers, tilers (wall and floor) as well as general labourers. In addition, you’ll also need to be customer focused, reliable and hold a current driving licence.

Experience with use of mobile handheld electronic device to accept and complete jobs and experience of working with a schedule of rates would be beneficial.

Community Rangers
Based Hoddesdon
£8 – £9 per hour according to experience

We are also looking for some extra support for our Community Ranger team over the next few months, this will be on a casual basis. You will work within a team responsible for a designated area and ensure it is maintained to the highest possible standard. Primarily you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties within our communal areas and low level ground maintenance. A driving licence will be an advantage.

Casual Staff

Broxbourne Housing Association is a successful housing provider offering a range of services to our customers. Sometimes we need additional temporary support to help out for example to cover holiday periods. We would therefore like to build up a list of people who might be available for work from time to time and are looking for people with a range of skills and experience. You will be paid on an hourly basis according to the particular work undertaken.
